Finishing yet another game..

My game called "Bitter Better" received much less interest compared to my game "Cat and the Apple" this time. In this game-making journey that I started knowing that I couldn't do much, the main reasons I decided to stop working on "Bitter Better" are:

  1. Making time for new games This game didn't work out, and maybe it's best to create new things now. Please don't have high expectations for a new game to be made with Scratch.
  2. My promise of the last update I mentioned that instead of making the game an endless loop, I was thinking of adding an ending. However, I'm not very good at making animations, and I don't have a friend who can do it or a budget to hire someone.
  3. Scratch Game Jam In completely unfair voting, games without mechanics surpassed "Bitter Better." I consider losing to clicker games in a jam an insult. Yes, maybe my game wasn't good enough to be in the top 20, but poorly designed mass-produced clicker games surpassed me, and if I'm not mistaken, I came in 37th. None of my ratings were 1. Yes, I didn't give anyone a 1, but one person rated me with 1 point in all five categories and pushed my game to 37th place.

As a result, I am ending the development of "Bitter Better." I wish you all a good day, and I announce that new projects are coming soon.

Sincerely, Neuvosto Studios
